Born and raised in West Terre Haute, Indiana, Brent graduated from West Vigo High School in 1991, graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in 1993, and started the THJATC Apprenticeship in 1996. Nowadays he's been married to his wife Melyssa since 2001 and they have 1 daughter and 1 son. In his free time, he enjoys working on his old truck, working in the yard, and being outdoors with his family.🛻 🌳Favorite Thing about IBEW Membership? Meet the IBEW Local 725 leadership team! 👋 Born in Mecca, Indiana, Jim Fellows is our Business Manager, and the first person to call with any questions regarding the organization. When he's not working, Jim volunteers at his local Fire Department, enjoys making knives, and spending time outdoors with his family. 🔪 🌳 🚒Fun Fact - I never anticipated continuing my education after High School. Opportunities through the IBEW helped me receive an Associate’s Degree through IVY Tech Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Labor Studies through The Southern University of New York.Family - My wife Shirly and I have been married for 23 years and we have 3 daughters and a son.Favorite thing about IBEW Membership - The Members and the Benefits! The IBEW offers a career path, not just a job. Because of this, you almost immediately resonate with another IBEW member when you meet them.
