OverviewWould you like to join our team? We are seeking a dynamic detail-oriented, experienced Purchasing support team member. You will be responsible for participating in the procurement process and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmacy purchasing and inventory control.
Responsibilities
Work closely and report directly to the Purchasing Lead.
Assist in determining purchasing needs and requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Assist in the procurement process from creating purchase orders to receiving deliveries.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Receive incoming products, confirming no damage, good dating, and accurate quantities.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and preferred vendor compliance.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures
Knowledge using software QS1 preferred not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

May sit or stand five (5) to eight (8) hours per day.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
May be necessary to work extended hours rotating weekends as needed.
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICYWe provide qualifying full-time employees with 23 PTO (Paid Time Off) days annually. PTO is used for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave.
Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
